Our Odyssey - A Selective Catalogue of Works by PichiAvo

This book will be PichiAvo’s first anthology and commemorates 10 years of career of the artistic duo. A guide to the search for their own graphic and artistic identity in the public and private sphere; from experiences executing large mural productions to exhibition pieces resulting from lengthy work processes in the studio, experimenting with different techniques and surfaces in a constant search for new languages, finishes and textures.

It is a double life, divided into two clearly distinct phases of experience: “indoors” and “outdoors”, private and public. Our Odyssey, in a clear allusion to Homer’s classic work and the journey of the hero, therefore seems a good image through which to understand this duality, this constant element of their lives. Moreover, it offers a unique opportunity to read and under- stand a line of work and a set of dynamics and experiences that normally, as viewers, we do not have the privilege of seeing.

This anthology comes with a special edition titled Kivotos, a unique piece that complements their artistic journey.
