Alvento #44
Alvento #43
You pedal, and everything seems fine. Same road, same noise, thoughts racing, going nowhere. Then it doesn't take much: the asphalt changes, a wrong trajectory, the slightest distraction. And you're on the ground. Nothing serious. Your hand on the asphalt, a couple of grazes, the bike sideways. The smell of hot tar, rubber, dust. Your breathing out of sync. Why me? It comes out later. After it's already happened. A car passes, someone slows down, asks you if everything's okay . You nod. You get up. The chain's on, the wheel's turning. You too. You set off again. You're a little ragged and disheveled, but that's okay. You just want to go.
Some contents:
- Luz do Sul. Exploring Southern Portugal through the Volta ao Algarve.
- The present we didn't see coming . Will Matthew Brennan be the next big name in the Classics?
- Rockets! From YouTube to the World Tour, the incredible rise of the team founded by Bas Tietema.
- The Gospel According to Matthew. We went to Matthew Riccitello's house in Nice.
- Stelvio Epic Rides . A brevet of nine climbs around the Cima Coppi par excellence: it can be completed in a season; we attempted it in two days.
- Roman's garage. The founder and driving force behind Canyon literally opened his home and his book of memories to us.
- Quí tè camí té món. He who has a path has the world, in Catalan. And our path was the Gran Tour de Catalunya Gravel.
…and much more!
